Guidelines

Dress Modestly for the Summit: While you can wear hiking gear for the climb, you must cover your shoulders and knees once you reach the sacred temple area at the top. Remove Shoes at the Peak: Before entering the final temple platform to see the “Sacred Footprint,” you must remove your shoes. It is highly recommended to wear thick socks because the stone floor can be freezing cold before sunrise. Observe Silence and No Photos at the Shrine: Maintain a respectful silence in the temple area. Photography of the actual “Sacred Footprint” inside the shrine is strictly prohibited.
