Follow Traffic Rules : Overtaking and unnecessary stopping inside the tunnel are dangerous and strictly prohibited. Always follow road signs and signals. Road Safety : The tunnel is part of the main road (Kandy–Nuwara Eliya highway). Be cautious of heavy traffic and fast-moving vehicles. No Walking Inside : Pedestrians are strictly advised not to walk inside the tunnel, as it is narrow, dark, and designed only for vehicles.
